尊敬的各位嘉宾、各位同仁：

　　由中华医学会杂志社、中华医学会继续教育部以及我国南方各省市心血管病专业委员会和港澳地区心血管病专科学院联合主办的第10届中国南方国际心血管病学术会议（南方会，SCC 2008）将于2008年4月10-13日在广州东方宾馆举行，我们谨代表大会组委会对来自国内外的心血管专家学者和同道们表示热烈地欢迎。

　　2008年是南方会10周年华诞。经历10年的风雨历程，南方会已经成为我国乃至东南亚地区心血管病学界的学术盛会。本届南方会在继承以往成功的基础上，将广邀国内外著名的心血管病专家莅临讲学，交流近年来心血管病防治和基础研究方面取得的新成就，介绍国内外心血管病研究的最新进展，对心血管领域热点问题进行深入讨论和经验交流，追求学术共识，提高临床水平，从而进一步为促进我国心血管病学发展和学术繁荣做出新的贡献！

　　本着坚持学术、强调应用和开放协作的办会精神，本届南方会的主题定为“积极实践心血管病的规范化治疗”，将就“心血管病规范化治疗的重要性”、“欧美心血管病诊疗规范与指南解读”、“如何建立中国特色的心血管病诊疗规范”等热门专题进行深入讨论和经验交流，交流方式包括各专业论坛专家讲座、手术转播演示、论文宣读、壁报交流、卫星会等。会议期间还将举办“当代心脏病学进展学习班”和“心血管介入培训课程”两个临床基础学习班。

CHAIRMAN’S ORATION

Our honorable ladies and gentlemen:

The thenth South China Cardiological Conference will be hold in 10-13， April， 2008 in Dongfang Hotel Guangzhou， which is co-sponsored by Chinese Medical Association magazine， Chinese Medical Association continuing education department， all cardiological professional committees of provinces and cities of south China， HongKong College of Cardiology， and Macau College of Cardiology. We sincerely represent the SCC organizing committee to warmly welcome the cardiologists from home and abroad.

The year 2008 is the tenth anniversary of SCC. Coming through these ten years， SCC has become the cardiological academic magnificent meeting of China and Southeast. SCC of this year will inherit the successful of before， will invite famous cardiologists from home and abroad to our meeting and have their lectures， to interchange the novel achievement on prevention and cure of cardiovescoular diseases and the basic researches， to introduce the latest advancement of researches of home and abroad， to share the experiences and discuss profoundly on hotspot problems of cardiovascular field， to pursuit the common acknowledgement， to elevate the clinical levels， and to contribute to the promotion of cardiological development and academic prosperity.

In line with insisting on academy， emphasizing application and opening cooperation， the theme of this SCC will fix on “Actively practice the cardiovascular standardized treatments”， concerning about “the importance of cardiovascular standardized treatment， the Euro-American standard of diagnosis and treatment on cardiovascular diseases and the readout of guideline， how to establish Chinese-characteristic cardiovascular diagnosis and therapeutic standard” and other hot subjects， we will discuss profoundly and share the experiences， including forums of all profession， live operation demonstration， readout of articles， wall poster exchange， satellite conferences， etc. In addition， we’ll have “current advancement of cardiology lessons” and “cardiovascular intervention training course”.
